Prayerful Meditation
Be Still: A Guided Meditation
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. Close your eyes, relax your shoulders, and let your hands rest gently in your lap or by your sides. Take a deep, intentional breath…
Take a deep breath in…
…and slowly exhale.
Again, inhale deeply…
…and release, letting go of tension, worries, and expectations.
Now, silently or aloud, repeat these affirmations at your own pace. Let each one settle deeply into your heart:
I am calm in the presence of God.
I am rooted, secure, and deeply loved.
I release what I cannot control.
I trust in His perfect timing and guidance.
Peace fills me from the inside out.
I am grounded, centered, and at rest in His presence.
I breathe in strength and breathe out fear.
I am a beloved child of God, fully known and fully accepted.
I embrace stillness and allow my soul to be restored.
I am patient with myself and with God’s unfolding plan.
I am open to receiving divine guidance and wisdom.
I walk in faith, hope, and confidence.
I am renewed, refreshed, and filled with His peace.
Take a few more slow, deliberate breaths, letting the affirmations echo gently in your mind and heart. Feel every cell in your body align with stillness, peace, and confidence in God’s presence.
When you are ready, gently bring awareness back to your surroundings. Wiggle your fingers and toes, stretch if you like, and carry this calm, centered energy with you throughout your day.
Be still… breathe… declare… and walk forward in His peace.
